How We Stabilize Stem Cell Growth Factors in Lifeline Stem Cells Skin Care

But the problem is this: human-derived proteins are very fragile. They would quickly degenerate in a topical serum or lotion if they were exposed to the real world--oxidation, water or excessive heat. So the proteins need to be sheltered and preserved so they stay fresh in the bottle.
Then there’s a second problem: delivering them to the skin. Skin is intended as a barrier to protect our bodies from external insult or injury. It works to keep things out — and not allow things to penetrate. But topical creams have limited value if they only remain on the surface of the skin, which is comprised mostly of dead skin cells.

In order for the stem cell growth factors to remain stable, the microcapsule has to protect the contents in the creams. Water is good for our bodies, but not for ingredients, because it can lead to rapid oxidation and reduced effectiveness. Since Lifeline creams and serums are water-based, the microsphere excludes water from the environment around the proteins, thus protecting them.
